Tech giants vying for NFL Web rights

Apple Computer Inc., Google Inc., Microsoft Corp., Sony Corp., and Yahoo Inc. are among the contenders vying for the Internet rights to the National Football League, the most popular brand in sports. The new deal is likely to far exceed the current five-year, $300 million pact with several partners, including CBS Corp.'s CBS SportsLine.com and Time Warner's AOL unit.
