Minn. lawyers say stimulus package will spur legal work

Projects funded by the economic-stimulus package are expected to generate a significant amount of legal work for Minnesota construction lawyers. Attorneys will draft contracts for subcontractors, negotiate supply and purchasing contracts and address employment matters, among other things. Minnesota attorneys say the construction law business has declined over the past eight months as the economy has weakened, but they expect large contractors and smaller companies to require more legal services soon.
