Spanish firm expects to finish Interstate project ahead of schedule

Spanish contractor Actividades de Construccion & Servicios expects to complete a project to rebuild Interstate 595 in Florida six months ahead of schedule. Construction on the $1.79 billion contract will start in July and is expected to be finished in March 2014, according to the company. ACS will design, build, operate and maintain three toll lanes in I-595's median as part of the public-private partnership.
