After 25-year hiatus, Liederkranz cheese is back

Liederkranz cheese, a slightly less-pungent cousin to Limburger, will be produced again, 25 years after the only plant that made it shut down. The recipe for the cheese, originally made in the late 1800s in upstate New York, has been acquired by ConAgra, which is rolling it out first in Wisconsin, then in gourmet cheese shops.
