The cell phone's increasing role in bridging the global gap between rich and poor became a common theme at last week's CTIA WIRELESS® show as keynoters listed numerous examples of how wireless technology has improved people's lives all over the world. These included the technology's ability to help victims of the Haitian earthquake to helping bring about change in countries such as India, where wireless helped inform farmers there of a modern planting program.
