Exec: Patients should have control over their health data

Patients should have the right to decide who can access their health records as well as delete, annotate or correct information entered by their doctors, said Alfred Spector, vice president of research and special initiatives at Google. Patients need "transaction efficiency," including medication refills, appointment scheduling and telemedicine consults, Spector added.
