Feds release draft environmental report for Kern River Gas pipeline

The adverse environmental effects from the planned expansion of Kern River Gas Transmission's intestate pipeline in Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada could be lowered to less-than-significant levels through appropriate mitigation, according to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The project seeks to boost the pipeline's transmission capacity by 266 million cubic feet per day.
