High-speed rail bridges partisan divide in Washington

In Washington, the partisan divide ends where the debate on transportation infrastructure begins. "There is huge support for more trains," said Anne Canby, a former Delaware transportation secretary and a leader of The OneRail Coalition. "That fact alone will propel continuing investment in transportation, and particularly in rail." Democrats and Republicans have been supportive of infrastructure investment, particularly in high-speed rail, writes Tom Belden.
