House fails to act on impending 21% cut in Medicare fees

Congress has adjourned for a two-week break without House lawmakers taking up a measure passed by the Senate earlier this month that would delay the 21.2% cut in Medicare reimbursement until October 1. The cuts will take effect April 1. The House will resume votes on the bill on April 13, according to its calendar.
