Is lack of cash slowing ad industry's diversity push?

Efforts to boost the number of minorities who work at ad agencies may not be realizing their full potential because some of the efforts are underfunded, according to this article. The 4A's, for example, made a five-year-pledge of $250,000 to a Howard University program, but the school has only raised $300,000 of its $750,000 match. However, Nancy Hill, CEO of the 4A's, said better coordination of the industry's diversity efforts, rather than just raising more funds, would help bring more minority talent to agencies.
