Louisiana, Haiti students use technology to share common experiences

Videoconferencing technology allowed a group of New Orleans high-school students to share their experiences surviving Hurricane Katrina with a group of Haitian students recovering from the recent earthquake there. The international nonprofit Global Nomads Group set up the interactive program to connect the students, many of whom agreed to stay in contact through Facebook.
