McDonald's to add outlets in Asia, Africa, Middle East

McDonald's plans to invest $415 million in Asia, Africa and the Middle East in 2010, according to Tim Fenton, head of the restaurant chain's regional business. McDonald's has targeted South Korea in particular for aggressive expansion. "Korea is a big market for us: You've got 48 million people, a $30,000 average household income and beef eaters," Fenton said.
