Nanotech sector must help shape upcoming regulations, executive says

The U.S. nanotechnology industry will face increasingly tough and potentially expensive federal regulations after the Environmental Protection Agency outlined plans to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act and boost the agency's oversight on chemicals, according to John DiLoreto in this opinion column. Nanomaterial producers should form groups to participate in the creation of mandatory testing that will likely be part of looming TSCA reform, DiLoreto writes.
