Report: U.S. losing edge in global nanotechnology race

The President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology reported last week that U.S. investment in nanotechnology is growing at a slower pace than in the rest of the world. The group recommended funding increases in government nanotechnology programs, emphasizing commercialization of new products and giving foreign scientists and engineers incentives to remain in the U.S.
