Wal-Mart aims to set up e-commerce operations in China, Japan

Wal-Mart, which has hundreds of physical locations in China and Japan, is planning to beef up its ties to the countries with direct online sales. The largest retailer in the world is establishing systems for adapting its online technology platform to work with the Asian businesses and is hiring to prepare for the e-commerce launch.
