Wis. program trains physicians for rural health care

Rural areas in Wisconsin have major difficulties recruiting physicians, but the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health hopes to help communities fill vacant jobs. WARM gives medical students more information on rural culture and issues, along with a broader set of skills that will be required in rural areas where they may be practicing on their own.
