A4A campaigns for national airline policy

Airlines for America is working on a campaign to persuade the U.S. government to adopt a national airline policy. Proposed taxes on the U.S. airline industry could cost $36 billion over 10 years, according to the A4A. Taxes on the industry are 17%, the organization says, higher than "sin taxes" levied on the tobacco and alcohol industries.
