Marketing CSR vs. authentic sustainability

Some companies have CSR built in simply by way of the product or service they offer, writes Jon Carson, CEO of BiddingForGood.com. Others have a product or service that doesn't pertain much to doing social good, yet they are trying to market a CSR strategy. Some of these companies have done it well, Carson says, but many struggle to get the executive buy-in necessary for authentic green efforts.
