Mich. House approves autism coverage bills

The Michigan House passed three bills requiring insurance coverage of the diagnosis and treatment of children with autism as well as taxpayer reimbursements for insurers and third-party health plan administrators. The insurance mandate will form a network of autism specialists in the state, Lt. Gov. Brian Calley said. The legislation now goes to Gov. Rick Snyder.
