Verizon expects to roll out an integrated offering that would add video streaming to its wireless service by year's end. Unlike traditional pay TV, Verizon indicates that content providers might be open to an "a la carte" approach that would allow users to pay for specific channels, rather than tiers of service. Verizon is seeking regulatory approval for $3.9 billion in spectrum-license deals with leading cable providers, including Time Warner, Comcast, Cox and Bright House.
