Ala. considers adoption of common-core-aligned assessments

State board of education members in Alabama are considering the adoption of ACT Aspire -- common-core-aligned standardized tests. Officials say the change would help improve collaboration and be used to inform instruction and measure student progress but not affect grade promotion or graduation.
