Antennas Direct becomes go-to resource for cord-cutters

Purchasers of Antennas Direct's products have gone from people with home theaters trying to receive full HDTV signals to those looking to augment their streaming services after cutting the cable cord, according to Richard Schneider, the company's president. Its products are getting noticed by pay-TV companies, with Charter Communications recently refusing to run a spot explaining how viewers could opt out of pay TV. "Hulu and Netflix are helping revive antenna sales. Over-the-air digital is really the new basic cable," Schneider says.
