Iowa school e-mails parents about cut classes

A new computerized attendance system at Des Moines' Lincoln High School supplements an automated phone call to an absent student's home with an e-mail to parents. Vice Principal Gail Soesbe says that while students can intercept phone calls, the e-mails are sent to private accounts that students can't access.
