Lockheed lands DOD radio system upgrade contract

Lockheed Martin has won a $766.2 million contract to provide the DOD with a radio system that will connect the military's aircraft, ships and ground stations. The contract, a key part of the Joint Tactical Radio System program, could eventually involve the installation of tens of thousands of radios.
