Big Blue pushes "Open Cloud Manifesto"

IBM wants the industry to adopt common standards for cloud computing so that everyone's components work together. The company says Google, Cisco, SAP and Sun have already signed on. Cloud giants Amazon and Microsoft have not, but the IBM campaign may force them to publicly embrace the concept of interoperability, writes Eric Krangel.
