NPRA president: Challenges in store for petrochemicals industry

The shift in U.S. politics could affect multiple areas of the petrochemical community, said Charlie Drevna, president of the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association, at the group's 34th annual International Petrochemicals Conference. While Congress prepares to revisit the Toxic Substances Control Act, changes also could be in store in areas such as federal authority over anti-terrorism measures at U.S. chemical facilities.
