California teachers to be selected for seminar trip to China

Eleven teachers from California's Northern Humboldt Union High School District will be selected to attend a four-week seminar trip to China. The trip will be paid for by the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad program, which is funded by the Department of Education. Two district students and two undergraduates from Humboldt State University also will be selected for the trip, which is to include lessons in China's history, culture and language.
