China blocks some Google functions

Some of the functioning of Google's mobile operating system appears to have been blocked in China, in the wake of Google's move to stop complying with the government's censorship requirements and redirecting users to a site run from the search giant's Hong Kong office. Google is maintaining a kind of online scorecard that indicates which of its services are functioning normally on the Chinese mainland, and which have been blocked.
