Court: Worker can sue employer over denied claim

An Oregon appellate court ruled a worker denied workers' compensation benefits by Portland General Electric can sue the company for fraud. The worker alleged the company asked for medical documentation of his injuries before opening a case, then failed to open his claim in an effort to keep him from making a timely hearing request.
