FDA seeks more data on heart drug from Abbott and AstraZeneca

The FDA asked for additional data on Certriad, a treatment for lipid disorders that contains the active ingredients of cholesterol drugs TriLipix from Abbott Laboratories and Crestor from AstraZeneca. An Abbott representative said the companies, which are co-developing Certriad, are "working to respond to the FDA feedback."
