Gas plan could bring some Alaskans low-cost propane

Residents of Fairbanks, Alaska, could start to receive low-cost propane as part of a deal that would see the Alaska Gasline Port Authority truck natural gas from the North Slope. While the deal would focus on bringing cheaper gas to residents, officials suggested that it would also bring Fairbanks a propane windfall, which could be passed on to residents through lower prices.
