Robotics, aeronautics spark interest of gifted students

Fourth- and fifth-grade students in a gifted science program at a Florida elementary school recently demonstrated the robots they built as part of a program combining robotics and aeronautics. The gifted students began robotics lessons this school year as part of the Student Pursuit Around Knowledge -- or SPARK -- program, accompanied by instruction from an educator in the district's aviation program.
