Turbo-charged LPG car is off to the races

Racing driver Tom Chilton says he's looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a speedster powered by liquefied petroleum gas as the British Touring Car Championship begins this weekend. The converted Ford Focus's distinctive gassy smell and souped-up turbocharger should make it a fan favorite, he writes. "There are lots of advantages to running this fuel and one of them is that we can run a small turbo," he writes. "I can't hear it inside the car, but everyone outside can hear the wastegate chirping away."
