3M retracts injunction over bandage system

3M said it has decided to drop a request for a preliminary injunction against Andover Healthcare after the latter recalled its CoFlex two-layer compression bandage system, designed to treat venous leg ulcers. 3M lodged the injunction after its unit, 3M Innovative Properties, secured a patent for a similar product, Coban 2 Layer compression bandages, in December 2010.
