Get to know what makes your customers tick and help them see what they're fighting against -- those are two ways to help customers see themselves as the heroes of your company's story, writes marketing expert John Jantsch. Then you can show how your company's marketing "story" can help customers overcome their obstacles and succeed. "While I think it’s important that you and your business strive to be the hero in somebody’s story," Jantsch writes, "I think it’s equally important that you understand how to position your customer or community as the hero of your story."
