RDs find healthy options in breakfast customs around the world

Israel, Turkey, Costa Rica, China, Venezuela and Vietnam were listed by registered dietitians as countries with healthy breakfast traditions. Fruits, vegetables, lean protein and fiber are common elements of morning meals in these countries, and registered dietitian Ann Diker suggests Americans try adding more vegetables to their breakfast menus.
