Mobile phones vie for entertainment center

Opera Software, the maker of a popular Internet browser for mobile phones, says consumers soon will be able to use handsets to control video recorders from outside the home. Separately, a Georgia company, SmartVideo Technologies, has launched a service that delivers high quality video service to mobile phones. The company's goal is to create a wireless network to feed content to millions of video-enabled handsets.
