Leasing companies warn airlines not to expect discounts

Legacy airlines should not expect discounts or bailouts in the future, three aircraft leasing companies said. ILFC CEO Steven Udvar-Hazy said U.S. carriers don't want to pay security deposits or overhaul reserves on leased planes. "During the last five years, we had a situation where the large U.S. legacy carriers were very arrogant," Udvar-Hazy added.
