AOPA welcomes Babbitt as new FAA head:

In a statement, the AOPA applauded the Obama administration's choice of Randy Babbitt as the new head of the FAA. "Mr. Babbitt is a pilot, the former head of the Airline Pilots Association, and an adviser on air traffic control modernization, and AOPA looks forward to working with the new administrator once he has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate," said AOPA President Craig Fuller.
