A television advertisement for STIHL chain saws that aired in New Zealand has offended a few viewers. The commercial shows a dying father asking his son to care for his mother. When someone asked what the father said, the son replied, "He said I could have his chain saw." A member of a conservative media standards group said, "I was really horrified. ... It's simply not good enough, and it's not the New Zealand I know." Creators of the ad say offense was not their intent.
