O'Hare receives $12M in federal stimulus funds

O'Hare International Airport in Chicago will receive $12 million in stimulus funds, but the $15 billion expansion currently under way at O'Hare did not qualify for federal funding. The airport will use the $12 million to widen a taxiway and repave an existing runway. O'Hare is still trying to secure funding for the second phase of the expansion, which will include a new runway and terminal.
