Pennsylvania hospital wins nursing IT award

Butler Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania won the Health Data Management Nursing Information Technology Innovation Award for helping develop a bedside documentation system that uses voice technology. The technology allows nurses to dictate their notes into a headset, cutting down on the amount of time that they need to spend on paperwork and other administrative duties.
