U.S., Europe agree regulatory reform needed, Geithner says

Leaders in the U.S. and Europe want a far-reaching overhaul of regulations for the financial system, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said. The "U.S. has a huge interest in acting quickly and comprehensively to use this opportunity to develop an international consensus on how to make the system more robust and stable," Mr. Geithner said ahead of the Group of 20 summit Thursday in London.
