Boeing eyes stretch version of 787

Boeing Co. may once again be considering a stretch version of the 787, according to a report from Bernstein Research. The firm said Boeing is making progress on weight reduction efforts for the 787, which could make a longer version of the plane feasible. Earlier in the development process, airlines had pushed for a stretched model with an additional 50 seats.
