FDA panel hears testimony on menthol cigarettes

An FDA scientist said Tuesday that evidence does not link menthol cigarettes to an earlier age of initiation of tobacco use. The testimony by Dr. Joshua Rising was part of a two-day public meeting of FDA advisers on the effects of menthol cigarettes.
