GE acquires share of U.S. Gulf LNG terminal for $150M

GE Energy Financial Services has spent $150 million to purchase a 30% interest in El Paso Corp.'s Gulf LNG Energy terminal in Mississippi. The $1.1 billion site, which will import liquefied natural gas, is under construction and is slated for a 2011 startup, a GE official said.
