Household products could pose danger to pets

A study by the Poison Control Center of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals revealed the top 10 household items that were most toxic to pets in 2009. These included human drugs, flea and tick products, and garden mulch, which could increase risk of bladder cancer in dogs, according to this article, citing a study published in the Journal of the AVMA.
