Many business owners opt to file extensions

Filing taxes is the last thing on the to-do list for Sabina Gault and her public relations firm, Konnect PR. She, along with many business owners nationwide, is relying on a six-month extension to give her a little more time. "It's worth it to pay the fees rather than cutting out such a big chunk of [client] time," Gault says. But experts warn struggling businesses not to delay filing just to put off paying what is owed in the hopes that business will pick up.
