N.H. preschool special-education teacher wins state CEC award

Preschool special-education teacher Joan Rees was named the Council for Exceptional Children's New Hampshire Special Education Teacher of the Year for her work in the classroom and the effect she has had on students and their families. "She's a dynamo in going above and beyond what goes on during the school day," her school's special-education director said. "She's always working toward the best for both her students and the parents in the community."
