Outback plans launch of under-500-calorie menu items

Outback Steakhouse is the latest chain to announce a new line of lower-calorie entrees, set to debut later this month. Parent company OSI Restaurant Partners is also planning to focus on smaller dishes at its Carrabba's Italian Grill chain, as it works to win back belt-tightening consumers.
